Mrs. Marisa Innecco, grandmother of our founder, is the inspiration behind our name. An artist, active and healthy, surrounded by a family of doctors, she seemed to have everything needed to receive the right care. However, in 2018, she lost her life to a breast cancer that could have been diagnosed in time.

Her story opened our eyes to a harsh but common reality: it's not enough to have information or access to healthcare; the care must arrive at the right moment. This awareness inspired us to create Marisa. Care—so no one has to navigate a complex healthcare system alone, and so that all the Marisas we know have the chance to live longer, healthier lives.
